The Entertainment Consumers Association (ECA), the non-profit membership organization that represents gamers, today announced that they have retained leading international law firm Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP to assist with the drafting of the ECA’s official “friend of the court” document (amicus brief) to the U.S. Supreme Court for the upcoming violence in video games case, Schwarzenegger v. EMA. Work on the brief is underway and the final version will be submitted by the ECA to the Court on, or before, its scheduled due date of September 17, 2010.
