You hear about records and competitions all the time in the games scene, but you don't often hear about gamers starting off as competitors then banding together to set a world record.
That's what happened in the Netherlands when six Dutch gamers playing [I]Red Dead Redemption[/I] decided to put aside their differences and play for 50 hours straight, breaking the previous record of 40 hours, 20 minutes set by Chirantan Patnaik of India. The record came at an event called Twistdock Endurance Gaming Event in Rotterdam.
