While Microsoft’s Kinect had a ho-hum showing at E3 and doesn’t appear to be resonating with consumers, one sector, at least, appears to be embracing the fledgling technology—the advertising and marketing industry.

The fast food purveyor will bundle a toy in with its Kiddie Meals and also include a tag that will allow a copy of the toy to be scanned into the Kinectimals game. Players will then be able to toss the virtual item around in-game and have their on-screen pet retrieve the item. Fun!
