The game follows the life of Pilgrim and three band mates, who must defeat the evil ex-boyfriends of Pilgrim's current girlfriend Ramona Flowers.

The brawler-style game is for four people, allowing players to take on the roles of Pilgrim, Flowers and bandmates Kim Pine and Stephen Stills. The article said that Ubisoft has hinted at unlockable charaters, modes and levels.

The game is a tie-in with the upcoming movie, [I]Scott Pilgrim vs. The World[/I], starring Michael Cera, and is planned for release in August.
