I decided to post this one together, because well...it's about both.
I am, of course, a man of the Cloth. However, a good friend of mine is a chemistry teacher at UMass Amherst. Him and I constantly disagree upon if the world was designed by some higher up being, or if it suddenly happened by random.
Now of course, I'm under the belief that something so complicated as the entire universe couldn't of just happened. He beleives that it simply happened. It was just concidence that all of the atoms aligned just right to make Carbon bind with hydrogen and the other elements thhat make up all living things.
However, my son put it like this: Science is too young to understand religion, and religion is too old to be open minded of science.
What do you think?
