When it comes to party/social games, I won't play games like Farmville. I prefer to pick up either Rock Band or Guitar Hero. The funny thing is, I wasn't always into music games like Guitar Hero and actually avoided them after watching a few gamers demo GH2. I wondered what the fascination was when they looked so silly pretending to jam away on a plastic guitar, waving it up and down frantically through the air!
But all of that changed when I reviewed Guitar Hero 3 and found myself completely and utterly addicted. While I'm no plastic guitar maestro, I can usually finish most songs on hard mode on a good day and thoroughly enjoy myself in the process. After Guitar Hero 3 (which I still argue is one of the best), I was downloading songs on a regular basis and couldn't wait for Guitar Hero: World Tour.
