It looks like half-naked eye candy is not as popular as it used to be - at least among attendees of the Penny Arcade Expo. According to results from a recent poll, 60 percent said that they either "liked" or "loved" the ban on booth babes at PAX. A poll conducted by the organizers of the annual Penny Arcade Expo Events asked 6,313 respondents their opinions on booth babes and found that a whopping 60 percent thought that the ban on booth babes is a good thing. Only 12 percent said that they "hated" the ban.
But more revealing were new rules that fans of PAX want and expect of models and actors that dress up like game characters: they want them to know something about the products they are trying to promote. Models will also be able to dress up like characters from games and wear revealing clothing, as long as it's true to the original character. The new rules will also allow for more cosplay among fans.
