Hello there,

After following ECA and SeriousGames for awhile (and being a gamer), I decided to make my own game. My background is in policy/political outreach and I see a HUGE opportunity to educate our generation on policy matters that concern us all.

My game project, [URL=http://uomegame.com]U.O.Me.: Pay off your share of the REAL national debt[/URL], started after winning a competition and small grant from a mobilize.org conference late last year. I just returned from NYC and the 7th annual Games for Change Festival, winning the competition there and the "Most Likely to Succeed" award.

We are in production, with an alpha and beta coming out soon we hope, but this all depends on funding.

We have a LOT of information on our microfundraising site, as well as our facebook. The game is non-partisan, as it has choices that span the entire political spectrum. We want to create a dialog and educate on the issue, not preach.
