While Electronic Arts and THQ are finding new ways to punish consumers for buying used games, Capcom is rewarding players for keeping Lost Planet 2: an Achievement and Trophy. Andriasang did some digging and noticed an Achievement and Trophy called "Running Through 6" which rewards you for keeping the game for six months. The Xbox 360 Achievement gives you 20 Gamerscore Points, while on the PS3 you earn a nifty Bronze Trophy.
Naturally this can be earned simply by messing with your console's system clock, but if you do that then you're just a filthy cheater and will have to live with the knowledge that you aren't very serious about playing games the way they were designed to be played.
I know i'd rather be rewarded than punished!
