This 2008 true story is a fun, entertaining movie starring Chris Pine (later starring as the new Kirk), Bill Pullman, and Alan Rickman.
In 1976, a British wine affectionado/critic living in Paris, in an attempt to get his brand out, organizes a blind taste test between Californian and French wines to poke fun at America on its bicentennial. Traveling there to figure out the "best" to bring back, he is surprised at the quality he finds.
