According to [URL=http://www.slashfilm.com/2010/05/12/sony-and-happy-madison-developing-feature-based-on-short-film-pixels-retro-gamers/]Russ Fischer[/URL] the nifty short film from Patrick Jean called "Pixels: Retro Gamers" is being made into a feature length film through a collaboration with Adam Sandler's Happy Madison Productions and Sony Pictures.
In Jean's film, famous iconic pixels from such games as Space Invaders, Tetris, Pac-Man, Frogger and more attack and transform a metropolis into a pixilated disaster zone. It's a neat little film that works very well as a short, but we're not sure if it pans out well as a full blown movie. You can check out the short above.
