In a bid to drum up community involvement among residents of Boston’s Chinatown, local leaders commissioned the development of a videogame.
[URL=http://participatorychinatown.org/]Participatory Chinatown[/URL] was developed by project partner [URL=http://www.muzzylane.com/]Muzzy Lane Software[/URL], in conjunction with the [URL=http://www.asiancdc.org/]Asian Community Development Corporation (ACDC)[/URL], [URL=http://www.emerson.edu/]Emerson College[/URL]’s New Media program, and the [URL=http://www.mapc.org]Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC)[/URL]. Funding was provided by a grant from the [URL=http://www.macfdn.org/]MacArthur Foundation[/URL]'s Digital Media and Learning Competition.
