Sony Online Entertainment's wildly popular, family friendly, free-to-play MMO, [URL=http://www.FreeRealms.com]Free Realms[/URL] celebrates one year of services today. The game, which offers a little bit of fun for everyone, will be celebrating its birthday with special events all day long. Parties will take place every hour, on the hour, beginning at 9 a.m. PDT, in each area of Free Realms. These activities include dancing, goofiness, celebrating and “Ambassador Hide and Seek.” Each party will have one SOE Community Team member hiding, and another hosting the party and telling players who to look for. The event also introduces seven tints for the Beetle pet Alfy, (for purchase) and a sale (350 Station Cash) on the red Balloon Animal pet.

Free Realms is free-to-play but offers an in-game currency for purchasing premium content. The game currently (as of earlier this month) enjoys 10 million subscribers worldwide.
