Login Conference 2010 is set to kick off in just about two weeks in Seattle Washington. The annual event dedicated to online and social networking games will, no doubt, offer the usual insider panels, discussions and lectures on everything from micro-transactions to social game development and beyond - but a couple of events on the agenda caught my eye.
The first is a lecture from psychotherapist Hilarie Cash on game addiction. Cash specializes in video game and internet addiction, with a particular emphasis on treating Internet addiction - a topic she has been tackling sine 1999 through her company Internet/Computer Addiction Services in Washington. She is also the author of the book Video Games and Your Kids: How Parents Stay in Control.
