It's amazing how people can find pop-culture references and imagery in the oddest places. The latest images from NASA's Cassini spacecraft has added another reference that is pretty hard to ignore.
Beaming back images to Earth from Saturn's moon Mimas, scientists found a rather odd dispersion of temperature patterns. The moon, which has already been likened to the Death Star because of its huge eastern crater, now must content with thermal imagery that looks like Pac-Man eating the central crater.
