Meanwhile, Electronic Arts also entered the fray [URL=http://gamepolitics.com/2009/09/30/ea-amp-edge-games-trademark-spat]last September[/URL], filing a Consolidated Petition for Cancellation against a series of Edge Games trademarks, including “The Edge,” Gamer’s Edge,” “Edge” and “Cutting Edge.” EA claimed that Edge Games did not actually use trademarks like “The Edge” in commerce. EA also said that Edge Games had continually threatened to sue it over the EA Dice-developed game Mirror’s Edge.
