It an effort to train it's employees in a more entrertaining way, McDonald's is going to start using the Nintendo DS to train its employees in Japan.
According to [URL=http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2010/03/21/mcdonalds_ds_training/]a news item on Andriasang[/URL], McDonald's Japan will implement the DS training program, dubbed eSmart, later this year and will be used for new part-time workers. Around 3,700 restaurants will get two DS systems each.
The program will cost around 200 million yen, not counting software development. Mcdonald's expects to save money by cutting training time for new workers in half.
