Ok, so a few years back I was still in college, I was broke, and had no money for games. I saved all I could and bought a Nintendo Wii. I loved the system, all my buddies came over and we played the hell outta' the Wii. It's great for drinking games!
Then, for my College graduation present, I recieved an Xbox 360; amazing! I have played that ever since.
A while back (the end of last year) I came into a little money; I purchased a brand new 1080p monitor, some bose speakers and all the holiday games for the Wii and 360. After I had bought all the gamming stuff I could, I started to look at the PS3.
When I was looking around one day I noticed MGS 4, I knew the game was out but had never considered buying a PS3 and though of that game at the same time.
That day I came home with MGS 4 and my new PS3. I didn't give the game too much of a chance considering I had all the latest games from 360 and I had to install MGS4, lame!
I purchased several other PS3 games and never really felt that the graphics or even the physics were up to par with 360 games.
The PS3 sat and collected dust until about a week ago. I was bored and decided to give MGS 4 another try, after all, Hideo is amazing and I have loved the previous two MG games that I had the oppertunity to play.
Since last Sunday I believe I had put in over 20 hours, and I'm a full time employee and student, so that is a substantial amount of time!
What I want to say about MGS 4 and the PS3 though, is that after playing about half-way through MGS 4, I have truly seen the power of the PS3.
The system has great potential and an amazing game, MGS 4, that moves games yet another step closer to being an art form in the eyes of non-gamers.
