I often send to GP some news from Germany, but as most of them come from the same source, I prefer introduce it to all of you.
Meet Matthias Dittmayer. This is a German student and gamer who, like many, was appalled by the way video games were depicted and villified by his country's mainstream media. So he posted a video on YouTube in order to re-establish the facts. The success was so big (to this day, it was seen more than 1 million times) that he decided to launch a website, Stigma-Videospiele, in order to present and detail his arguments. Since a couple of months, he added a blog that he constantly updates with news and information about video game controversies and collusion between games, the media, and politics. As I've said, it's my number 1 information source for everything related to games in Germany (although, unfortunately, everything is in German). I check and googletrad it, and I invite everyone interested about video games situation in Germany to do the same.

And the last news is : in the wake of the Winnenden shooting, Stuttgart cancelled an e-sports tournament. The mayor (CDU) said that because of the shooting, he would no longer accept this event.
