So, picked up mad world, and it may have finally proven to me that the Wii is not just a Gimmicky kids toy. It's starkly violent, over the top, and unaplogetic about it all. Visually dynamic, with a clean, comic book feel, it does a great job of presenting violence in a way that is both shocking and oddly compelling.
It's no shock to me some people got bent outta shape about the game. There is NO denying the violence and carnage that is at the core of the games gameplay. But even so, within the context of the games Black and white visual style, it's hard to take the violence as being anything more then cartoony and over the top.
In terms of audio, it' has a fittingly rap inspired soundtrack with murderous lyrics, and the BEST announcers in the history of gaming. I mean it, the annoucers for this game add real life and enjoyment to it.
If your looking for a mature, violent game for the wii, this is it, if your a squeimish kid or concerned parent, then no, not for you.
But I enjoyed it, and if you like some good old fashioned action and carnage, you'll enjoy it to.
