Hello everyone! My name if Ryan.O'Hanlon and I've been a member of the ECA for almost a year now. The reason I am posting so late is that I recently learned we had a forum from our Ventura County Chapter President.

A little brief bio of myself. I am currently 24 years old born in the month of October, 1984. I am born and raised in Moorpark, California and have always held video games as my main hobby. I have been to events such as E3 back in 2004 and 2005 and would like to be able to attend again. My education background consists of an A.A. in Liberal Arts and Science from Moorpark College and a B.A. of History from University of California Santa Barbara. Having since graduated I am currently employed by AT&T as a Finance Representative in a retail store. I have been applying for employment that utilizes my strengths and passions but have been unsuccessful in my efforts. In my spare time I work with my fellow UCSB alumni and produce a podcast called Games and Me([url]http://gamesand.me[/url]). Some of my interests outside of video games is history, media, Japan, Rollerblading, radio and television.

I have many reasons for joining and want to contribute as much as I can to ensure the success of the ECA. Success that will encourage members to join, participate and give back to their communities. Encouraging members to be informed and take action in their local areas by using their specialties so they in turn can be a success in the job market. I am also joining to learn and increase my own skill set and find out what I am really passionate about the video game industry.
