Noticed this little bit of info when I signed on to my 360 last night. November 17 is when the new XBL UI and Avatars will go live. Now in the past I have been a bit cynical about the new look for the Dashboard and the replacing of Gamerpic with Avatars. But as time went on and new info was posted I felt myself become a little interested in what the new interface would offer. I like how the new Dashboard UI looks, didn't really have a problem with it aside from what it did to the backgrounds but I could get over that. My biggest problem was the Avatars, now I can understand the 360 crew wanting to appeal to more of a casual crowd but I thought that making Mii looking avatars was a bit much. But once I started to look into the Avatar system a little more I started to become interested, so I figured instead of just saying this sucks I would give it a shot. Hell if I don't like it I could always go back to my gamerpic until more customization for the avatars is released in April'09.

To others who use the MyGamerCard signature service. Has there been any information given on if the Gamercard signatures will look any different? Will they now include the gamer's avatar? I was hoping someone heard something about it.
