I saw both movies over the weekend. Tropic Thunder was as awesome as I hoped it would be, looking into context about the Retard fiasco I can see why someone with a redwood up their ass would be offended. But normal people who use logic will laugh their asses off at the scene, which I would like to point out contains all 17 uses of the word retarded. The scenes with Robert Downey Jr. are golden. And even though he is a douche, it is hard not to laugh at Tom Cruise.
Mirrors was decent I thought. Plenty of jumpy moments, nothing scary just the boo something jumped out of the side of the screen type of moment. The movie stars Jack Bauer as a NYPD cop on leave for killing a fellow undercover officer. He is constantly medicating himself to help him cope with the shooting. To help with money for his coroner wife(who is ****ing hot) and his two children, Jack takes a job at a burned down department store with creepy mirrors and a Silent Hill feeling to it. During the movie Jack lives up to his bat**** insane rep by
Shooting random mirrors
,
Yelling at the top of his lungs at panes of glass
and
pulling a gun on a nun
. All and all for a remake it was a good movie.
