McCain and Obama had a "debate" at a church and decided they agree on everything except abortion.

This disappoints me because it really goes back to Kerry Bush where they agreed on most things and Kerry just quoted the bible to show he's moar christian. Obama also quoted Jesus on why we should halp the poor, while McCain said we should halp the poor because he can't think of anything else to do with the extra billion dollars he always has sitting around the house at the end of the month. (jesus christ i was exaggerating in that last sentance, lrn 2 take a joke)

They both said "marriage should be between a man and a woman" which is consistant with their past statements but frankly Obama disapoints here. Does he not understand the difference between a civil union and marriage? The fees are f'n insane, and the rights don't even come close. I can't speak for the entire state but I know locally various clerics were interviewed and they thought the idea was laughable that they could be forced legally to marry gays, for the most part they had no problem with the state offering marriage to same sex couples.

Christ-fags, why does this matter to you? Why the **** do you care about gay people getting married? HOW WILL IT AFFECT YOUR LIFE?

Well, it won't affect me if they pass a law to execute all christians by burning them at the stake for fear that they will eventually become a domestic terrorist group similar to the Taliban, but I would oppose such a law because that is just mean.
