Probably not the sensationalist headline some were hoping for, but it really is business as usual as far as Rockstar, the BBFC and the British public are concerned.

Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto IV has been awarded an 18 certificate by the British Board of Film Classification. According to the classification the game received an 18 rating for "strong violence, very strong language, very strong sex references and drugs use".
The BBFC website states that "This work was passed with no cuts made", so we should be getting the game as Rockstar intended. This means the highly anticipated game is now all clear for release on April 29 for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
The BBFC listing has since been removed from the website.
