ok we know it's censored here and this isn't an argument for nor against it. i just thought the topic itself might lend to a bit of discussion.

firstly, how can a word not be offensive but synonyms for it be offensive? i don't see the logic behind this. if you're not offended by one F-word, why would you purport to be offended by another?

secondly, why is using a fake swear word any better or worse than using a real swear word? they are invented so people can swear on TV without being censored, and thus it invokes the proper context and meaning without it being the exact word.

would you prefer that shows do like Firefly or Futurama did and just swear in Chinese instead of English? (and Firefly had some really good ones)

also, FYI, Frell came far before Frack on the timescale.
