While playing WoW Friday night I all of a sudden realized that for some insane massochitic reason I really missed playing Final Fantasy XI. Maybe I was becoming tired of the same old grind, the same raids done on a weekly basis. Maybe I was yerning for a change, a change to a different style of grinding. So yesterday I walked down to my local EBGames(I refuse to call it gamestop) and I purchased FFXI for my computer, simply because the PS2 I was playing it on is on it's last leg (I really should put old yeller out of it's missery). After six hours of installation(Thankfully picked up Dynasty Warriors Six while I was at EB) I was finally able to get back on FFXI.

I was surprised to see that even after two years of being gone my Linkshell did not kick me, they were even happy I was back. Well I haven't gone out and fought anything yet, last night was getting used to the controls again, setting up macros and making sure everything was in working order. I decided that even though I leveled Monk up to 54 I am going to start to level my Paladin job. Playing WoW made me realize that I love playing a tank, so a tank I will be :D. Don't get me wrong I will still play Monk when I feel like I want to punch things in the back of the head while they beat on the tank.
