Its starting to look like Obama will get the democratic nod. While I may not agree with all of his politics there are several things that I do like. The most prominent being that he's a communicator in the tradition of JFK and Ronald Reagan. When he talks, he does so about hope. He makes people proud to be Americans again, and to me that's not an insignificant thing. It'll be interesting to see where he goes.

On the republican side its looking like McCain's going to take New Hampshire. Which I like because it means Romney loses it, there's also the fact that I do like some of the things that McCain is saying. With Huckabee taking Iowa I wonder if we might see a McCain/Huckabee ticket. Might make for an interesting race.

There are also rumors floating about that Bloomberg might throw his hat into the ring. If he does then it'll hurt the democrats more than the republicans, most of his views are to the left of Michael Moore, and that's pretty far out by itself.
