My name is Ed Orman. I've been reading GP for quite a while - pretty sure I came here following articles about game violence, which is a particular bug-bear of mine. I love games, and have ever since I first laid eyes on a Space Invaders arcade cabinet (yes, I'm a bit old).

I've been a game developer since 1997, and since joining the industry I've found myself either giving people advice on what console to buy, or more frequently attempting to allay people's worries about the effects video games have on their children.

I'm currently employed at 2K Australia - formerly Irrational Games Australia - as Lead Designer, acting Producer just now. I have to stress (really) that the views I post on GP are entirely my own.

Looking forward to getting to know GP readers a bit better.
