and about an hour in waiting for a EXP party invite. While bludgeoning ornery sheep with my hermit's club in a small valley located in Konschtat Highlands, I feel my xbox 360 controller start to rumble. (and the camera cuts to a small cup of water watching the water ripple from each step taken.) I rotate the camera around me to only seethe charging head of a Rampaging Ram. In one hit my frail body is sent to the ground and i'm forced to either wait for a nice high lvl white mage to raise me or lose some well earned experience points and go back to my home point at Bastok Markets. Ugh...So I'm stading at my home point debating if I should just log out or brave another 20 minute trek to the Highlands to make up the EXP points I lost.
Halo 3 here I come! So i start the shut down sequence. a reacurring sentence appears in my chat log. "shut down will commence in 30 seconds...then 20...then 10...then 5...."
/Enspire Hello! Experience Points Party Do you need it? Looking for members.
Then my screen goes black and all i see is my desktop and captian america in his WW2 awesomeness and my jaw getting rug burn from how awe struck i am in what luck (or lack of) I have...
Moral of the story is...the game knows...oh yes... it knows...when things are looking bad and you're logging out...something somewhere gains ESP and then says to itself using his new gained ESP abilities >.> ..."hehehe i'm gonna totally mess this person up."
Actually no thats not the moral of the story. What is, is that i'm glad i got off while i was thinking of it. A sad realization is that some people can't.
Enjoy the lil fiction/nonfiction story and remember self control is a human trait we all inhibit. Some just ignore it for selfish(both good and bad) reasons.
