After my grandmother of 90 something years who has a ferice sweet tooth started complaining about her milk being sour/bitter I did some digging and it seems Mayfiled has made a boo boo with the Nurture line shes not the only one complaining about the "new" taste(if you don't know they "updated" their Nutrish milk with more helpful bacteria).
I can't find any real detailed infermation on it but from the comments on mayfields own blog it could be a simple production issue they have yet to fix or they are simply ignoring it or they are simply mixing old product with new in order to save money I do not know but the end result is a slightly bitter milk,I sat down after washing my mouth out and rising a few times with water to get a clean feel/taste in it,I sat down and opened up a fresh gallon I got and behold it is slightly bitter I can drink it since its better than most 2% still but still....this seems to be a problem no one is dealing with.
And no the 2% line of Nurture is not available here.
I guess the best thing to do is just test it every 3 or 4 months see if they finally fixed it...until then its 2% milk time >>
