I've learnt just right now that French actor Michel Serrault and Swedish moviemaker Ingmar Bergman both passed away. They were respectively 79 and 89.
I'm so sad for Michel Serrault. He was a member of a generation of French actors and gentlement, who were great and classy on- and off-screen, and very popular in and outside France. Two other actors of this generation (Jean-Claude Brialy and Philippe Noiret) already died this year. :(
And of course, Ingmar Bergman was a giant, but I know him less...
