This may not entirely be the correct topic to place this thread but like I really care about formalities.
Upon reading the paper today, Orlando Sentinel (and if you haven't guessed it yet I live near the Orlando area), one of the front page stories was on the increased prices of groceries and how to budget your money better.

I dug around a bit more and found some more articles on rising prices and falling sales amongst retailers.

I work in grocery retail myself and definitely have not noticed major declines in sales but I have noticed people buying less (products not necessarily spending less).
Now to the point. How much affect does inflation have on gaming? Are you buying less games to have more money for other things? Or are you willfully spending $50-$60 for every cool game that comes out?
