I can not, for the life of me, fathom a reasonable excuse to propagate an idea that says we shouldn't take care of the planet we live on.
I understand that global warming is an issue, I've seen the proof, I've examined it, I've studied it, and it checks out.
What I don't understand is the people who stand to make policy that actually takes all that evidence and says, "It's irrellevant." What is so bad about taking care of your planet? We have to live here, it's actually a fairly nice looking planet, what in all the heavens could make someone say, "We don't HAVE to take care of it. It's there for us to take advantage of." I don't understand that idealism.
Anyone?
