I do solemly swear that I recognize that this may not be the best common sense choice to bring this story up. But parts of the story demand a few zings and at least 1 correction. I take full responsibility for my actions.
Ahem.
Ok.

Ok, the obvious first zing is, if you're going to claim to be on the side of life, DON'T DO SOMETHING THAT MIGHT END IT. Stupid humans, stupid humans.
The next zing:
"The device "was configured in such a way to cause serious bodily injury or death," said David Carter, assistant chief of the Austin Police Department."
Noooo... Really?
It's an exploxive for crying out loud! Whether by intent or otherwise, the thing is going to cause harm or death. DUH!
An incorrect statement (Toll or someone, I know you'll correct me if I'm wrong, which is fine by me):
"A U.S. Supreme Court ruling last week banned a type of late-term abortion."
Unless they are referring to a different case, then SCOTUS didn't ban a certain type of Abortion. They upheld a law that banned the particular type of Abortion and which a lower court claimed was unconstitutional. SCOTUS didn't actually do the initial banning.
And this one is misleading, though I don't think it can truly be proven or disproven:
"We know that when abortion is in the news, we also see clinics targeted for increased violence and disruption," said Vicki Saporta, president of the National Abortion Federation. The group put out a memo to abortion providers around the country, urging them to be alert."
I would think that depended on how it was in the news. If laws regarding Abortion were lessened, then I would think it would increase the amount of outspoken Anti-Abortionists and drive the lunatic fringe into a frothy rage.
But the news was that a limitation on Abortion was upheld, and I would have thought that would have increased "celebration", rather than motivate rage, let alone motivate the lunatic fringe.
