Ok, I'll go on record as saying that I am Anti-Abortion and, as I have said before, I am non-religious Agnostic, and therefore do not use religion as a foundation for my Anti-Abortion beliefs. There are more details in my beliefs, but that's not what this thread is for.

I gotta say, this bill is boneheaded.
Ok, yes, there is an emotional factor there and in some cases, it might actually change the minds of those seeking Abortions.
However, there are many reasons for Abortions. Quite a number are for emergency medical reasons. I'll look up the whole bill later, but it doesn't seem to provide for such situations. Moreover, there is a requirement to wait for an hour after viewing the ultrasound.
Also, who pays for the REQUIRED ultrasound? Since the bill requires it, should the state pay? What about free clinics? Will the bill require the clinics to foot the bill or, since this is mandated by law, should the state?
This bill is a waste of effort. They could have been working on bills that would have changed lives so that Abortion wouldn't even need to be illegal, it would become totally an undesireable choice simply because of better available choices. Improving life quality all around, improving medical technology, and far more.
Next thing ya know, they'll be coming up with new video game legislation. Bloody waste of time.
