Though there are plenty of new games to play, and more than a few that I missed in the past couple years, I find that instead of picking up something new I often return to the classics that I still count among my favorites, some over a decade after their release. I'm curious to know if anyone else has similar tendencies.
They may not be the most advanced games, and may look primitive or lack the variety of gameplay we're used to nowadays, but they're always fun. Here are a few of most-loved favorites that I've recently started playing again: Ascendancy, Master of Magic, and Exile III.
On the to-be-replayed list: Stonekeep and Planescape: Torment.
So, spill: what older games do the rest of you occasionally dust off and fire up?
