Ok, so...
I played X-Men Legends for XBox. I loved it.
I played X-Men Legends II: Rise Of Apocalpyse for PSP. I loved it.
I played my friends...erm...'bought' copy of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance for PS2...and I'm kinda disappointed in it.
I'm not sure what to think of it so far. I want to get it for the 360 whenever I can, so here's hoping the 360 version is a whole lot better then the PS2.
But still, the entire game feels messy. They have awesome cutscene (though they were very obviously pixelated), and then it turns into this cel-shaded world that feels really...cartoony.
And they have a nice line-up of useable characters (Hulks missing though, unless he's unlockable later on), but whenever you change their outfit (like switch from Wolverine's Ultimate costume to his Astonishing costume) you have to upgrade the costumes defense and all that.
Also what I didn't like was the fact that there wasn't a universial money bag. Each character had their own money bag, which means it'll be a bitch to raise each character.
And...I dunno. It felt a whole lot more clustered. And they fixed nearly none of the problems XML had. You still get stuck between static objects and all that...
Then again, it's the PS2 version, and I can't expect they'd put a whole lot of effort into polishing up the PS2 and XBox versions. So here's hoping it's a whole lot better on the 360/PS3.
Also, anyone play Justice League Heroes?
