This really sucks. I want to be in Japan for the Fall semester in '08, but I'm not exactly sure how to pull it off. I don't go to a real school, so I don't have any options to travel abroad through the school. Most of the independent study abroad programs are affiliated with these Jesuit schools in Tokyo and I don't want to be the "Jew in a Jesuit school in Japan".
Does anyone know any colleges that admit non-students or well known programs for foreign exchange. I basically want to enroll somewhere for a semester and study Japanese language/culture/history/etc.
Price isn't an issue for the moment, I just want to know my options...if I have any.
