Who is still gonna buy a PS3?

I was wondering if any of you guys are still getting a PS3. Cause personally, with all of the S**t Sony has pulled lately, I dont think they deserve my money or my support in the next console war. (Of course one person isnt gonna change much) But I mean, the feeling that i get from sony is that they dont even care about us anymore, they just want to make money, and they have no concern whatsoever about bringing a genuine gaming experience to us gamers. Thats kind of the vibe I sense from them. But what does everyone else think?

Alot of the games for it that I want to play are also gonna be on the Xbox 360, so, odds are I'll still try to get a 360 first.

I might, if I see a few more worthwhile games for it (And there's a price drop sometime). I'd say maybe mid-2007 I'd consider it.

I am with you the Arrogance of Sony add the media/entertainment centerness of the PS3 its not longer a game machine so they don't have to work on games much anymore games are bad enough right now in a few more years of graphic worship gameplay will be dead nintendo seems to be the only one to get it but even they are shakey.

the 360 is barely ok MS needs to get on the ball and get more devs on board and fix the damn HD,the hard ware revision is good start but they have far to go.

Ya know, no company REALLY cares about their customers. Nintendo only ensures their customers are satisfied because that's their deal, that's how they profit. Sony doesn't give two ****s because their deal is "HOLY **** IT'S EXPENSIVE AND SHINY BUY IT!" MS is a little harder to pin down but if Nintendo could make systems out of AIDS and arsenic and still make profits the way Sony does they probably would do the same. The only reason I think Nintendo is like that is because they've been in the business for decades (referring to the card business, etc) and realize that customer satisfaction is the key to long term profits.

Anyways, Sony has giving us the cleaveland steamer recently, and I have no problem not buying a PS3 since GTA will be coming out on 360 as well, and blu-ray disks are hella hella DRM'd.

Because they know how to have exclusive, high-quality games from various high-selling series like Final Fantasy or Metal Gear? Along with not being assholes to the developers unlike Nintendo?

Or using a format (Gamecube, Dreamcast) with non-common disc format. (If you can buy a recordable disc in stores, it's common)

I'm buying one, when I see the great games come in and they will have some great exclusives. But if the rumor of MGS (and others!) coming to the 360 is true, then I will still buy a PS3... when it drops in price in the clearance bin for 59.99. For me to poop on.
