It says about 78% of the future teachers in Quebec just failed their French admission exam because they can't write French at all. The majority of the problems come from people "writing it as they say it", which can be quite troublesome in French, where all sorts of ridiculous prononciation and spelling is used all the time. Some people even used French chat speak during the written part of the exam :rolleyes:
