Anyone else enthralled by this game?
It looks like a cross between Fallout and System Shock set in a 40's underwater city 0-o
just thinking of it gives me the creeps and makes it a must buy!

Like I Said above its like a mix of Fallout and System shock 2,that and the environment is neat.

They say they are going to do something new with AI "Dynamic AI" they call it I am halfway wanting to call BS I look at how the characters react and think its more multi scripted AI and not true dynamic,but in the end its how they made the AI do what it dose.
I cant wait to see more can't wait for a demo either ^0^


Rants
1.Weapons if all the weapons he has is that 1 gun or at most 4 gun types..thats going to hurt some
2.If there are only 5 more enemy models in the game that will hurt it,FEAR was good but 2 things kept it down lack of different enemy types and 2 or 4 level types.
3.I hope it has more than the 2 or 3 level types I think it will have.
4.this needs to be a long game...its less than 9 hours long....thats pitiful...

I worry about it being watered down for the consoles,ever since dues ex 2 I can see what ignoring the past can do to a great game....

Another fear is that they might have forgot how to make great games I didn't have any doubts about Quake 4's greatness till I played it after I got my preorder and its one of the most lackluster FPS I have ever played....

I saw a trailer for this just a bit ago. It looks like it'll ****ing rock. It looked alot like the pre rendered cutscenes of old, and the combat looked pretty fast paced, and it leaves room for you to get creative with the environment*

I know. and i hear you can customize what powers you get. I nthe trailer I saw the character stab a syringe into his arm and send a swarm of locusts at an oncoming enemy

I hope you dont have to run to the pep boy wall outlet thing to change powers every time that would suck wait I just re watched my HD preview it seems so 0-o

the wall outlet thign is for turning powers on not switching between them ...thank god...

that was promised alright, that you woudln't be stuck with a power set, that you coudl change powers and such at your leisur.e so, like, you give yourself a powe,r practice a bit with it, and if you don't like it, change it. I do hope the promises of Telekinesis are fullfilled. I hear you can even learn a scream to call upon giant brutes to protect you.

Hey, it works. I did see a part of the trailer where the main character got a power drill right through the hand. More like a mining drill, but you get the idea.

the atmosphere of the game is great I just worry about some of the small things that have been overlooked in nearly all FPS games in the last 4 or s years...

Thayt's true. And I almost expect miami moron to raise hell over this game since you can, you don't have to but can shoot kids i nthe game, but since this game isn't from TakeTwo, odds are he won't touch it.

T2 did buy I-G and T2 is the publisher so wacko jacko might try it but sicne the game is so horro themed I doubt he would try..but know him.....who knows 0_o

to him it would be liek you HAVE to shoot that kid, there's no other choice, you get more points based on the innosense of the target or soemthing ,like two points for downing a soldier and a million for killing a kid, or stomping an ant.

Well yeah Kuri is right but it's one of those things. Like KN will always post images with funny sayings, I will always make jokes, Demontestament will post links to CNN, Theory? Edits people's posts, etc.

Getting back to Bioshock, I just watched the X06 trailer again, and the voice actor for the founder of Rapture is outstanding.

"I built a city where the artist would not fear the censor. Where the great will not be constrained by the small. Where the scientist would not be bound by... petty morality."

I think this guy is going to give Walton Simons a run for his money.

I like to think the bubble men as once pedos but now that have been deformed and remade into the walking dead in oder to protect their masters the little sisters.

In any case this game rocks....it can do DX9 and DX 10,dose any one know f the retail store box of it is tied to steam in anyway?
I can not forgive or stand steam is it malware at its finniest,you ask e the best copy protect is what Q4 and Prey have it checks the key online and wont let the game play if its bad no net no key check no updated and no Mping this is how you fight pricery by offering whole games when the simple cd checks are done to force people to "stream" data from big brotehrs severs only makes you want to bypass it that much more...
