If Okami doesn't win, stabbing must commence.

It won't. Sad fact is with how soem of the gamerscape works if it doesn't have the words Madden, GTA, Rainbow six, or soemthing popular then for alot of "gamers" it isn't worth knowing about.

...We'd better start sharpening our knives and swords right now then.

And how in the hell did three first person shooters and a 2d platformer get qualified as Action Adventure games? Okami is the only one that fits the Genre archetype.

an angry mob woulda just converged on you for calling prime hunters just an FPS. The metroid series has always been Action-Adventure, even if the Prime series has been in a first person mode, its still action-adventure since it does require a bit of exploring and poking around to get information and where to go. Deus Ex was also a FPS without really being a FPS, point being that a first person view doesnt always mean its a FPS where **** just blows up all the time.

The only 2 games that make ZERO sense on the Action-Adventure list is F.E.A.R and the Tom Clancy game

Ok, it's a first-person platformer.

Fps is a subgenre of action. It's like how metal is a part of rock. Of course, fps should be its own category in the same way metal is.

Of course, when fps has its own category I'll bet jethro tull will win.

Prime is Adventure FPS,the adventure being its bigger than a game of tis genre and has more RPG like elements in this case a ton of sh!t to read if it had money or EXP of any kind a FPS RPG it would be.

I can think of a few Action adventure games GOW,Castelvina 2,POP(Prince of pershia)

Zelda is a Action RPG and so is SOTN and the GBA Castelvina's

Action Adventure games tend to be less "static" than other games like platfomers Mario was a Platfomer for a long while then Mario world came along with mist if not all the reqs for Action Adventure status.

Adventure games are still like RPGs...minus the fighting *L*
Solid adventure games are more puzzle but then you get games like Out of this world,Black thorn,Generations lost and what was that other one mmm memory loss and begin stuck in a jungle..?
*L*
I guess Action Adventure is its type.

Dues ex is a FPS RPG no doubt in my mind abotu that ^^

Pretty much right on about Metorid its always been Adventure and shooting then story
Metroid 1-2
50% adventure
40% shooting
10% story

Metorid 3+
40% adventure
40% shooting
20% story

I even think the Metroid primes are even more leveled
40% adventure
40% story
20% shooting (Sorry I might be a fan but they get minus for no full button mapping)

While I am at it am I the only one to notice weapon imbalance missiles not having radius damage and other things that hurt the game?

Let the bribing commence! Who will win this bribery scenario?

Award ceremonies are jokes that nobody laughs at except the companies that make money out of it.
