Anyone else enthralled by this game?

My only fear is its watered down some for consoles....
Dues ex 2 is a perfect example of being watered down for consoles *sigh*
I was so disappointed in Quake 4 it cured e of buying new games I don't want to be let down..I guess I will track this game heavily...then get it after its release if the first reviews say ts not been simplified for the casual gamer...

the game? its just made by the same people that made system shock 2 and they have not seemed to have degrade in thier quality like every other dev has,altho they have not made alot of games :P

Some of my posts are on the spot reviews as a play a game like the DQ8 thread was I reply to any posts as soon as I see it,but also post as I go thru the game.

Zippy, the thing with a web forum is that it is usually created in order to stimulate two things: Discussion and debate.

Game threads where you simply tell us what is happening in a game generates neither, as it generates spoilers and drives people who might not like the game to flame you.

What this thread first post reads like is: "This gmae is teh aweSom, cuz their is kewl moveis and ****z on the net and it mght be not like Quake 4." Sadly, this is really not very conductive to discussion...

Exactly, the very nature of forums makes it so that if things don't get responses or posts they go away, therefore if you don't like a thread it's normally better to let it be instead of starting a flame war that will keep it at the top of the forum and not let the thread die.

I recommend just typing what you want to write in Word, spellchecking it, then when it is at least somewhat gramatically correct paste it into here.

Removing the emoticons and the "mmm"s is fine too.

You could always get a browser with a built in spell checker, I think slim browser has one and you can get a plug-in for firefox called riteoftongue that does the same thing.

your getting word and wordpad confused one is a Word processor with spell checking and plug in ability the other is a fancy text program.

Word is part of MS Office.witch is a extra set of programs,MS wants 100$+ for.

the LS will not be damaged by weapons,removing the adam they have will kill them but its not been said how that works yet.


also adam is no longer the currency of the land its EXP to spend for leveling.

first off not the PC LE 2ned I can get the PC version for 50 delivered,I do not want the normally version and will not waste my money on buying the normal version when I have 70 set aside for the LE :P

After playing the demo the only thing i had issues with was the Aiming, it felt off to me and didn't respond as i thought it should. otherwise, I loved it. Nothing bits a fist full of lighting.:D

I'll have to play it for 4 hours straight to start nit picking at it,but I'll have to play it first,so far the online activation question is begin dodged it could be a simple mix up between steam and retail but the mod/staff at the 2K forums has said retail(the DVD) requires net activation if so I will say no, I like my consumer rights as they are thank you..... I will never buy a retail game that requires the net to install or play.

New info once again on the online protection of the game,you get 2 active installs,when you uninstall the game it deactivates that install via talking to the activation severs if you can not "deactivate" it you will have to call in to be able to install the game again.

The DVD protection is securerom 9 I believe.
