We hate it when it happens, right? Someone buys and PS3 or Wii and sell it on Ebay at an inflated price. so I figured everyone would get a kick out of this story on an Ebay reselling plan that backfired (http://www.bit-tech.net/news/2006/11/23/PS3_sold_for_99/). Enjoy.

Theory?

Good. Morons like that deserve to lose out like that. I get so frustrated by people who just buy the console to resell it.

Yes, I agree! They're unsavory characters, the whole lot of them!

I don't think reselling consoles is wrong at all, but I wish I'd heard about this one earlier. I can spare a dollar.

Reselling consoles on ebay at higher that face value is just economical. There are more important things to fuss about. Hell, the 360 is still getting bout at prices of about 600-700 dollars. Hell, come December 12th I may do the same. I need the money for the Congressional Youth Leadership Council by the end of January. The suites on Pennsylvania Ave. aren't exactly cheep.

This is the second funnyest PS3 stupidity story I heard though. The first was the event where a man was shot after refusing to give up his PS3 money at gunpoint. :D

More karma: my paypal is locked down until I can provide a copy of my reciept for purchasing the ps3 I sold on ebay. The operator acted like I was an idiot for not having a copy in case of such an event, but I have sold more expensive **** w/o one...**** paypal, if they weren't a monopoly I wouldn't even use them.
