Sh!t is no worse than hell or damn and is used alot in Japaneses romanji,
Names, phrases and such since sh!t can be overridden so easily with a !, I request for it to be removed from the word filter.

If you can override the filter and have sh!te and other romanji that would be great,but again this request can be ignored :P

I agree -- the word filter definitely has issues. I can understand wanting to prevent people from swearing, but it's just ridiculous when the filter censors parts of ordinary words or urls. As Zippy said, the four-letter combo "sh*t" shows up a lot in Japanese thanks to the verb "suru", which becomes "sh*te" if you put it in -te form, or "sh*tai" in -tai form, as I recall.

Would it be possible to change the filters such that they only blank out full, free-standing words rather than parts of words?

In "Pop culture" did defame the N word then maybe would still be "bad"

Fag/Dike(sp) dose have a obscure non "harming" meaning,plus its like the N word but less so lets say the N word has lost 60% of its negative power over the years and has becoem a word of "empowerment" to all the thug/GangBangers around the world,Fag has lost 30% of its bite and a few more quire than quire folk use it with pride.

Still tho its got more bite to it,I don't normal label people easily ..its hell getting thos stickers off and I have the scars to prove it >>

I do not know what hebe is.

One of the old guys that comes around here to fix and work on stuff loves the afro rig/rigging/whatever...altho jerry rigging is as bad if you stop and think...jerry=gremans *L*

I do not know what hebe is.

I think it's supposed to be short for "Hebrew", but I've never heard anyone use it. A quick google search turns up a plant and a goddess named hebe, and I really had to dig before I found anyone using it as a racial slur.

my brain jsut processed snake in Japanese and Hebrew.....my brain is being evil today ><

slur's racial or otherwise are genrealy widely known,I guess forgotten slurs would count....but only if abused....

I think hebe (whatever the **** it means) was unfiltered because it ****s with any url that has these letters in that order. Which is annoying.

ture,altho he probly glanced at it soemtiems he dose read them sometiems not,on a scale of things this is a annoyance but nothing worth fooling over unles you know how to fix it quickly.
