Ok, for those of you who aren't wrestling fans, the title won't make sense, you need only know that Mick Foley is god, and that is all!

Now, that being said, I've gotten my hands on Smackdown vs Raw 2007, for the 360.

As with most wrestling games, the first thing that you notice is how it plays in comparison to it's presentation. The new control system, which adds such features as Eviromental hotspots, special control moves, and a more dynamic counter and control system, add a massive amount of flair to the games wrestling/entertainment style. Ring steps, turnbuckles, ropes, tables, you name it, it can be used by the player to his advantage.

Tied to the impressive visuals, which are both highly detailed and fluidly animated, the games new controls give a much more authentic experiance to the player. Theres also new "Ultimate control" moves which give you nearly full control of specific controls. From press slams to chock slams to sleepers and more, specific moves allow you to take direct control of them. These moves build momentum and do greater damage, but at the cost of your stamina.

The create modes, including create a wrestler, entrance, move set, and more, are highly detailed and fully adjustable, so making any freak you like is easy, and you can arm them with with any moves you chose. NEw moves can be unlocked as the game goes forward.

Theres every match avalible in the WWE included, and theres any number of game modes to try. General manager, Season, Pay Per view. The roster is equally impressive, holding a fine line between Modern grapplers, and classic wrestlers.

So, if you have a 360, and like a good wrestling/fighting game, and don't mind a bit of ham and chesse, then check this game out!

From what I have read and seen on this game, aside from the different controls and graphics there isn't that much difference between this and Smackdown vs Raw 2006. One think, I would say the selling point for me would be if the storylines in Season mode were not recycled and there were different story lines every time you went through. And I don't mean just changing what character you have to defend a title against, I mean a real change of story line. I more than likely will pick it up sometime but right now must say it sadly isn't at the top of my list of games to get.

Hey, I can understand, it's certanly not for everyone, but it's a big step up from it's playstation roots, and the new controls do have a major impact on gameplay. As for the stories, there very well done and shift frequntly, so it's a good game over all. But it'll be on the shelves months from now, so you can wait if you want.

Meh I might just skip this one, yeah it is for PS2 but I don't think I want another game I will play non stop for a week or two then never come back to it after I have beaten it. Online mode is still by Gamespy and their servers are like a retarded blind folded monkey trying to walk down a hallway without hitting a wall. Not to mention all the dumbass **** talkers who plague the rooms. I might get it but doubtfull, you played one smackdown game you played them all. Though would be nice to play as Jim Neidheart :)
