I have tired out a demo Wii at Gamestop last night, and it, was ,AWESOME!!!

The game was Excite Truck, it took a bit of learning ,but relaly, once you pick it up and being playing, the learning curve isn't all too steep, in less than a minute I was blowin dirt in my opponent's faces. And it's pretty unnerving ot grab an icon, and have the land in front of you warp before your very eyes, or get nailed by a rock from a volcano, as the icons do activate natural disasters. I did jump a few times when the speaker i nthe wiimote kicked in when I got an icon. Overall, I'd say Nintendo delivers.

And before I forget, they do have to do things al ittle differently wit hthe demo units. There are no wiimotes tethered to the display, you go up to the clerk, they ask for ID, and in exchange they'll give you a wiimote to try out the machien with, you return it when done ,get your ID, simple ,though this means we will have thieves with fake IDs.

I'm jealous. I bought a DS and some games for the same price because I know I won't be able to find a Wii until January.
