But I CAN find a DS and maybe like 3 games for the same price. I still have my GBA and plenty of games for that, but I do have a wonderful 6 hour flight next week, so round trip its a nice 12 hours on a plane, not to mention the time spent in an airpot (my favorite place to be always). So should I go for it, and what games are a must have?

New super mario bros is my favorite entry of the series since smb3. Metroid is pretty fun if you go for that sort of thing. Yoshi's island ds looks damn good.

Pheonix wright can be great as long as you understand how the law works better than Jack Thompson.

Tetris DS is freaking awesome if you're able to get online wid it.

Animal crossing ds has enough new stuff to please old fans.

As said earlier, mario kart ds is the most refined entry yet and not a port from the console version but an entirely new game. EA would only do these changes if they had skipped a year or two between maddens.

New Super Mario Bros, Advance Wars:DUal Strike and Metroid Prime: Hunters are the three I went for, and they don't disappoint. Brain age is also fun. I hear there's a Starfox/Arwing game coming out soon, too.

Phoenix Wright is definitely a must-have.

Mario Kart DS is a good game, but many people on wifi snake so I don't use it any more.

I liked Super Mario 64 DS myself.

Megaman ZX is a pretty good game if I do say so myself.

Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow is also a game I highly reccomend.

Daw nof Sorrow and Mario 64 are definitely good ones, albeit Mario 64 takes soem gettign used to, and the snakers in Mario Kart definitely do ruin the online play.

I'm having fun playing Star Trek: Tactical Assault right now. Freaking sweet if you're a TOS fan. Only about a thousand times better than every other star trek shooter i've played.

I suggest waiting for a Wii, but if you get a DS I strongly reccomend Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, Mario Kart DS, and Animal Crossing: Wild World

Brain Age.

Seriously, it's the only game I've ever found that actually made me want to do simple math.

Good game, but I got tired of it eventually. Good Lord I wish Star Trek Tactics had online play. DearS nintendo, I'd pay some monies if every game could be online multiplayer on a unified network.

I got an Onyx DS with NSMB, AOE, and Brain Age. I think I made out alright. I'm very excited, this little thing is very classy.

This is part of why Nintendo is going to do well this generation. The DS and the Wii are both lovely pieces of hardware. Did you know the RAZR is the best selling phone of all time in spite of the fact that it does not have as solid a radio as competing phones? According to polls, many consumers choose electronics based heavily on how they look.

PS3 looks pretty good but it's the size of the USS Enterprise.

PS3 looks pretty good but it's as big as Longcat is long.
