My friend and I started a new project. The best bull**** genre I can think of to describe it is "folk-indie-pop". We were going to call ourselves "Helicopters", but that name was taken, and that made us unhappy. So we need a name. Something clever and catchy.

No "The" names, either. "The" names suck.

While I can't think of good band names I can think of bad ones:

Airport Security (unless you're going to be bureaucratic and droll)

Jihadists (many reason why this would be bad)

Corporate Scandal (hmm i think this is more appropriate for mainstream musicians)

Tone Deaf (a name I assigned to the show performers on my cruise, because they were in fact tone deaf, at least the vocalists were)

Rumsfelds (unless you want indicted on war crimes)

Well... I do play keyboard, and I do sing... And I am trying to learn guitar as well... Although it seems Theory? already has that one pretty much covered. But yeah...

Well our drummer is a piece of software that I program. The guitars are mainly myself but my friend lays down some electric. However, he's the keys guy. It's really just the two of us writing all the material and recording all the instruments.

We would be doing this with real people, but my friend lives in Georgia...and I live in Boston. So we do it this way.

This is in honor of my online Inn from Delphi oh so long ago which was called The Dragon Rampant Inn. A name, by the way, which chosen from suggestions by members of the Games Forum on Delphi.
